Good to know

Why not write my own deed?

A wrong legal description or a missing signature can cloud the title for years. We check the last deed before drafting.

Can more than one person be named?

Yes. A TOD deed can name more than one beneficiary.

Do I still need a will?

Usually. A TOD deed covers the land; a will covers everything else.

What if my situation is complicated?

Flat fees cover standard deeds. If we find a title problem, we will tell you before doing any more work, and you will not be charged if we decline the deed.
