Is this valid in Georgia?
Answer: Yes. Georgia recognizes Transfer on Death Deeds under current state law when properly executed and recorded.
Question 2:
Can I name more than one beneficiary?
Answer: Yes. You can name multiple people as joint beneficiaries if you wish.
Question 3:
Do I need a will too?
Answer: A TOD deed can work alongside a will, but it directly transfers the property outside of probate.
Question 4:
Where do I record the deed?
Answer: I will record for you with Clerk of Superior Court in the county where the property is located. The court will charge $25 for recording.
